Weekly Culture Blocks Classes

Weekly classes utilize universal design to create an exciting class for dancers with and without disabilities and with and without dance experience. Each week focuses on an element of dance. Our classes are equally focused on exploring artistry and community.

Our Culture Blocks Classes are FREE and sponsored by Culture Blocks— a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County.

¡Bailemos! Let’s Dance!

This bi-lingual class introduces students to the joys of combining imagination and movement with music through the basics of ballet, jazz, contemporary and acro dance styles

Wednesdays 5-6pm

GiGi's Playhouse Charlotte

Expand Movement Just Dance!

This class invites beginning through intermediate dancers with and without diagnosed disability to join together in an inclusive dance class. The class will include technique, creative exploration, moving together, making friends and having fun.

Full Radius Technique Class
a rigorous, low-impact, contemporary dance class designed for all bodies where participants choose their own embodiment to explore; seated, standing, or on the floor.

Fridays 5:30pm-6:30pm

GiGi's Playhouse

Expand Movement Choreo

This class is for intermediate through advanced dancers with and without diagnosed disability to join together in an inclusive dance class interested in performance and choreography.
